• I have been working in open-access publishing since 2012. In July 2020 I joined the TIB as open-access publication platform manager for TIB Open Publishing. From January 2012 to June 2020, I worked in business development at Copernicus.org, an open-access publisher (Copernicus Publications) and professional congress organizer (Copernicus Meetings) based in Göttingen. Before entering the area of scholarly communication, I studied geography in Göttingen and graduated from university with a PhD in agricultural sciences (Dr. sc. agr.). My research and work led to many long-term stays abroad in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. In addition to being employed at the University of Göttingen for several years, I worked as a scientific coordinator of an international project at the University of Kassel.
