Jennifer is a researcher in the area of machine learning of natural language with project experience mainly in developing supervised machine learning techniques for natural language processing. She holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Dallas where she worked on relation mining from natural language text with a specific focus on time and space relations. She has since worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Davis following which she developed concept discovery solutions in industry. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher on the Open Research Knowledge Graph project in the Data Science and Digital Libraries group at TIB.
