- B!SON is an Open Access Journal recommender that determines the semantic and bibliometric similarity of a given manuscript to published Open Access articles in order to suggest suitable Open Access journals. It builds on article, journal and citation data provided by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and OpenCitations. In the presentation, the general idea of B!SON is explained and a short demo of the beta version is given. The presentation was given at a Coffee Lecture during Open Access Week 2022 at State and University Library Bremen, Germany (SuUB) on October 25, 2022.
