Eye Tracking Experiments Data Set - Linking Use Cases and Associated Requirements: On the Impact of Linking Variants on Reading Behavior Dataset uri icon

abstract

  • We designed an eye tracking study to investigate the impact of linking variants between use cases and associated requirements on the reading behavior. In 2017, we conducted the baseline experiment with 15 subjects, which we replicated as a repetition (with 15 new subjects) in 2018. This dataset includes the following files: "Data set.xlsx" contains all the raw and analyzed answers and eye tracking data collected in both experiments "I. Guide Sheet - No linking.pdf" contains the questionnaire and guide for subjects that use the linking variant "No Linking" "II. Guide Sheet - Additional Field and Integrated Links.pdf" contains the questionnaire and guide for subjects that use the linking variant "Additional Field" or "Integrated Links" "01. No Linking - Use Case & 22 Requirements.pdf" contains the use case and requirements that the subjects of the linking variant "No Linking" read "02. Additional Field - Use Case & 22 Requirements.pdf" contains the use case and requirements that the subjects of the linking variant "Additional Field" read "03. Integrated Links - Use Case & 22 Requirements.pdf" contains the use case and requirements that the subjects of the linking variant "Integrated Links" read This study was designed, conducted, and analyzed by Oliver Karras (@KarrasOliver), Alexandra Risch, and Jil Klünder.
