• Serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at TIB - Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and University Library in Hannover since 2018, his journey began with a civil engineering degree from the University of Hannover. Thereafter, he conducted research in Relational Process Modeling at the Institute of Computer Science in Civil Engineering, alongside designing and delivering courses on Java programming, Relational Databases, and Graphs and Networks in Civil Engineering.
  
  Transitioning into the software development arena, he honed expertise in crafting and refining software systems for airlines and tour operators, specializing in architecture design and framework development for domain-specific languages. Since 2012, he has spearheaded the development of infrastructures for open educational resources. Since joining TIB in 2018, he is now committed to the further development of infrastructures and services for Open Science, leading the software development department and supporting the new and further development of services in all areas of TIB.
